Victoria L. Collier, estate planning and elder law specialist, will appear at the seventh annual Atlanta Journal Constitution Decatur Book Festival to present her book, 47 Secret Veterans? Benefits for Seniors. The festival will present events in Decatur and the surrounding areas August 31st through September 2nd.
Collier founded The Elder Disability Law Firm of Victoria Collier, PC in 2003 to serve the legal needs of senior citizens with increasing health care needs. Located in downtown Decatur, the firm raised the bar for elder law firms everywhere by making house calls to their clients who are unable to come to the office.
Collier specializes in VA Benefits and after extensive experience in the field, she wrote 47 Secret Veteran?s Benefits for Seniors in order to satisfy her passion of helping elders. The Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC) Decatur Book Festival will have a booth set for Collier to display her law firm and offer her book. The book is also available for online purchase on Amazon.
The AJC Decatur Book Festival has occurred for the past seven years during Labor Day weekend. Collier will be one of over 300 best-selling authors to share their work. Each year, thousands of people attend the event to see the author displays and for other activities provided.
The AJC Decatur Book Festival is the largest independent book festival in the country and the organization that backs the event, hosts fundraising and literary events year round.
This year, the festival has adopted a focus on environmental issues and has scheduled several presentations from authors of environmental focused literature. Other featured events include a section for Atlanta authors, a children and teen stage presentation, poetry readings, and an acoustic music show.
